The Parker C0267-50 Neoprene (Chloroprene, CR) compound is a 50 durometer black elastomer formulated for O-rings and gaskets requiring flexibility and low-temperature performance. Designed for applications down to -60°F, it provides reliable sealing in contact with paraffin-based mineral oils, silicone lubricants, water, ammonia, and refrigerants. This compound offers improved ozone, weather, and aging resistance compared to nitrile, making it suitable for outdoor and refrigeration environments. Its balance of mechanical strength and environmental durability ensures consistent sealing in both static and dynamic conditions.
C0267-50 meets ASTM D2000 M2BC510 and MIL-G-1149 Type I Class I, AMS 3208 specifications, confirming its reliability for military, industrial, and HVAC applications. It is not recommended for use with aromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons, or highly polar solvents such as ketones and esters. This Neoprene formulation delivers dependable performance where oil, weather, and temperature stability are critical.
