Welcome to Canyon Components Terms and Conditions page. Here, we outline the policies and guidelines that govern the use of our website, the purchase of our products, and the services we provide. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and transparency in all interactions with our customers. By accessing our site or engaging with our products and services, you agree to comply with these terms. Please review the information below to better understand your rights and responsibilities when working with Canyon Components.
Shipping
Freight Terms: FCA shipping point. Responsibility for the product transfers to the buyer once in transit. Collect shipping charges on customer UPS, FedEx, or DHL accounts will apply unless quoted otherwise. Sea shipments can take up to 12 weeks or as quoted and may incur tariff surcharges at the time of U.S. port arrival.
Our standard freight incoterm is FCA shipping point, meaning responsibility for the product transfers to the buyer once it is in transit. Collect shipping charges will apply to customer accounts with UPS, FedEx, or DHL unless shipping is specifically quoted otherwise.
All lead times are good faith estimates. Faster lead times may be available; contact us for options.
Returns
Products that do not meet the agreed upon standards or are supplied in error are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, provided they have an authorized Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or Return Goods Authorization (RGA) and the parts are confirmed to be out of specification. Returns without an RMA will be sent back to the customer at their expense if the claim is invalid.
Standard stocked items can be canceled or refunded with written authorization within 30 days; restocking fees may apply. Non-stocked or custom items are non-cancellable and non-refundable unless approved in writing, and restocking fees will apply.
Returned products must be unused, undamaged, and include all required documentation for traceability. Lot or batch numbered items must remain isolated from other lots or batches; mixing products from different batches will disqualify them from return eligibility.

Non-stocked and custom items are non-cancellable and non-refundable unless approved in writing, with applicable restocking fees.
Order Minimums
The minimum order is $25 for stock items and $100 for non-stock items unless stated otherwise. Depending on the product, some line item minimums may apply.
Payment Terms
Without pre-approved credit, payment must be made prior to order processing via check in advance, credit card, ACH, or wire transfer. Credit terms may be requested with appropriate references and can take 4-9 days to process based on response times.
Orders
Discrepancies between quotes and order details are subject to correction and mutual resolution. Orders are subject to a quantity tolerance of +/- 10% unless otherwise specified. For any billing questions, please contact us directly.
Documentation or special requirements, including FAI, PPAP, IMDS, batch-specific test reports, or raw material certifications, must be requested at the time of quotation. Requests made after the quote may incur additional charges or be unavailable.
Tolerances and Quality
General purpose commercial tolerances apply to unspecified dimensions, including default drawing tolerance blocks.
Slight differences in color tone and surface finish (e.g., glossy vs. matte) may occur unless specifically quoted. Industry-standard AQL 2.5 sampling applies, so minor non-compliant parts may exist, though our products typically exceed minimum standards. Enhanced quality levels are available upon request and may incur additional fees.
Tarrifs
Recent tariffs imposed by various governments have caused notable shifts in global trade and economics, which may impact the cost of commercial aircraft parts you purchase from Canyon Components.
As stated in our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to make changes in response to unexpected and unavoidable events like new tariffs. We want to clearly outline the steps we’re taking in light of these developments:
- Price Adjustments: If tariffs lead to increased costs, affected product prices may be adjusted immediately. These changes will directly reflect the impact of the tariffs without any added markup. Adjustments will be included in product pricing, not as separate surcharges. If tariffs are removed and supplier costs decrease, we will reduce prices accordingly.
- Supply Chain Changes: We’re working to bring in products through regional warehouses closest to their origin and seeking alternative suppliers when possible, aiming to reduce the effects of tariffs on your business.
- Country of Origin Information: We’re receiving more inquiries about product origin and will provide as much detail as we can upon request.
- Continued Updates: We will monitor the situation closely and keep you informed of any changes that could affect product availability or pricing.
