Parker’s V1164-75 is a 75 Shore A black fluorocarbon (FKM) compound engineered for sealing applications that require low compression set, strong chemical resistance, and long-term durability. With a service temperature range of -15°F to 400°F, it provides dependable sealing performance across a wide range of industrial operating conditions. The compound offers excellent compatibility with mineral oils, IRM 901–903 test oils, nonflammable hydraulic fluids, silicone oils and greases, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Its inherent resistance to ozone, weathering, and oxidative degradation supports stable performance in demanding environments.
V1164-75 meets ASTM D2000 M6HK810 requirements and retains its physical properties after prolonged exposure to heat and pressure, making it suitable for both static and dynamic sealing applications in chemically aggressive systems. It is not recommended for use with glycol-based brake fluids, amines, alkalis, superheated steam, or low molecular weight organic acids. Canyon Components offers equivalent FKM materials designed to meet similar oil, fuel, and chemical resistance requirements for industrial sealing applications.
