It is widely used as a solvent, degreasing agent, and fuel component in various industrial processes. In equipment where it contacts O-rings, rubber seals, gaskets, and plastic components, compatibility should be evaluated to reduce the risk of swelling or material degradation. Benzine is highly flammable and may cause skin or respiratory irritation. Proper storage, safe handling procedures, ventilation, and appropriate PPE are recommended.
