Canyon AF70BK00 is a 70 durometer black AFLAS® (TFE/P) elastomer designed for high-performance O-rings and gaskets in aggressive chemical and steam environments. Known for its exceptional resistance to amines, acids, bases, and high-pressure steam, it performs reliably in demanding process and power applications, including steam-in-place (SIP) systems. The compound offers low compression set, excellent thermal stability up to 450°F (232°C), and maintains sealing integrity during prolonged exposure to heat and radiation.

AF70BK00 also withstands up to 200 MRad of gamma radiation, making it suitable for sterilization and high-purity service. It meets ASTM D2000 M2HK714 standards and balances chemical resistance with long-term elasticity. This cost-effective AFLAS® formulation is an ideal choice for chemical processing, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical sealing applications requiring high durability and resistance to harsh fluids.
