Canyon’s AF75BK00 is a 75 Shore A black AFLAS® (TFE/P) compound designed as a durable, cost-effective solution for high-temperature and steam-exposed sealing applications. It delivers excellent resistance to steam up to 200°C along with strong chemical compatibility against amines, acids, and bases, making it especially effective in steam-in-place (SIP) environments. With a service temperature range of -10°C to 232°C (15°F to 450°F), AF75BK00 maintains low compression set, high tensile strength, and mechanical stability under prolonged thermal and chemical exposure. Its resistance to gamma radiation up to 200 MRad further supports use in sterilization, nuclear, and high-purity processing systems.

 

AF75BK00 provides dependable performance in both static and dynamic sealing conditions and is widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, energy, and industrial applications where conventional elastomers degrade in steam or alkaline environments. The higher durometer compared to softer AFLAS® grades improves extrusion resistance while preserving elasticity and sealing reliability.
