Canyon AF80BK35 is an 80 durometer black AFLAS® (TFE/P) elastomer designed for O-rings and gaskets requiring FDA, 3-A Sanitary, and USP Class VI compliance. Engineered for steam-in-place (SIP) and sterilization processes, it delivers outstanding resistance to amines, acids, bases, and high-pressure steam. The material meets USP Class VI <87> and <88> biocompatibility standards, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, and food-grade sealing applications. With low compression set and excellent dimensional stability, AF80BK35 maintains reliable sealing under continuous thermal and chemical stress.

 

Operating from -10°C to 235°C (15°F to 455°F), AF80BK35 combines high-temperature durability with radiation resistance up to 200 MRad, supporting sterilization and cleanroom use.
