Canyon AF90BK00 is a 90 durometer black AFLAS® (TFE/P) elastomer built for O-rings and gaskets used in high-pressure and high-temperature sealing environments. With outstanding resistance to amines, acids, bases, and high-pressure steam, it delivers reliable performance in steam-in-place (SIP) systems, chemical plants, and oil and gas operations. Its high hardness rating provides superior extrusion resistance and dimensional stability, making it ideal for static and dynamic seals under heavy load or compression. The compound’s low compression set ensures consistent sealing strength and longevity even after prolonged exposure to heat and aggressive media.

 

AF90BK00 performs reliably from -10°C to 232°C (15°F to 450°F) while maintaining mechanical integrity and elasticity. It also withstands up to 200 MRad of gamma radiation, supporting use in sterilization, high-purity, and radiation-prone environments.
