Canyon’s EP90BK00 is a 90 Shore A black EPDM compound that is peroxide cured for enhanced heat resistance, aging stability, and long-term sealing performance. Designed as a cost-effective, high-durometer material, it provides excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and environmental exposure while maintaining good abrasion resistance and low compression set. With a service temperature range of -57°C to 150°C (-70°F to 300°F), EP90BK00 delivers reliable performance in demanding industrial environments where stiffness and extrusion resistance are required. Its higher hardness supports dimensional stability in static and moderate dynamic sealing applications subjected to pressure and load.

 

EP90BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M7CA910 requirements and is commonly used in industrial equipment, enclosures, and general sealing applications where high-durometer EPDM is preferred. This material is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker E0652-90 for comparable high-hardness EPDM sealing needs.
