Canyon’s HN70GR08 is a 70 Shore A green HNBR compound engineered for low-temperature sealing applications that require enhanced flexibility without sacrificing chemical and thermal performance. Hydrogenated nitrile chemistry provides improved resistance to heat, oils, and aggressive media compared to standard NBR, while delivering superior low-temperature performance down to -50°C (-58°F). With a service temperature range of -50°C to 163°C (-58°F to 325°F), HN70GR08 maintains low compression set, good abrasion resistance, and dependable sealing integrity in demanding environments. Its balanced mechanical properties support reliable performance in both static and moderate dynamic applications exposed to wide thermal swings.

 

HN70GR08 meets ASTM D2000 M3DH710 requirements and is commonly used in automotive, oil and gas, and industrial systems where cold-start performance and chemical durability are critical. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker N1173-70, KA158-70, and KA183-85 for comparable low-temperature HNBR sealing applications.
