Canyon’s HN75BK00 is a 75 Shore A black HNBR compound engineered for sealing applications that require improved heat resistance, chemical durability, and mechanical strength compared to standard NBR materials. Hydrogenated nitrile chemistry enhances thermal performance, abrasion resistance, and long-term stability while maintaining low compression set for reliable sealing. With a service temperature range of -35°C to 163°C (-30°F to 325°F), HN75BK00 performs well in demanding industrial, automotive, and oil and gas environments exposed to elevated temperatures and aggressive fluids. Its higher durometer provides improved extrusion resistance and dimensional stability in static and moderate dynamic sealing conditions.

 

HN75BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M3DH710 requirements and is commonly used where conventional nitrile materials are insufficient due to heat or chemical exposure. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker N1173-70, KA174-75, and KA157-70 for comparable HNBR sealing applications.
