By combining the chemical inertness of PTFE with the lubricity and strength of graphite, this material delivers reduced friction, lower wear rates, and improved dimensional stability under load. With a service temperature range of -268°C to 290°C (-450°F to 554°F), PT60BK20 maintains exceptional thermal and chemical resistance in extreme operating environments. Its low gas permeability and self-lubricating characteristics make it well suited for demanding static and dynamic sealing conditions.
PT60BK20 is commonly used in high-pressure backup rings, spring-energized seals, and precision components for semiconductor, aerospace, and chemical processing applications. It performs reliably in contact with aggressive media such as MEK, DMF, acetone, and other harsh solvents.
