SI60BK15 is a 60 shore A black conductive silicone compound from CanGuard designed for electrostatic discharge control and EMI shielding applications. This carbon-filled silicone provides reliable ESD performance and low frequency shielding, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets used in electronics enclosures, connectors, and shielding interfaces. It maintains flexibility across a service temperature range of -55°C to 160°C, with stability through short temperature excursions, and is tested to MIL-DTL-83528 standards. While it performs well electrically, SI60BK15 has limitations including lower abrasion resistance and potential corrosion in salt mist environments, which should be considered during material selection.
