SI70OR82 is a 70 shore A orange silicone (VMQ) compound that is peroxide cured and manufactured to AMS 3304, AMS 7268, and A-A-59588 (2A-70 and 2B-70) specifications for high temperature sealing applications. This material provides excellent performance in O-rings and gaskets exposed to extreme heat, maintaining stability up to 315°C while retaining flexibility down to -54°C. It offers strong resistance to ozone, detergents, salt water, and vegetable and animal oils, making it well suited for aerospace, industrial, and environmental sealing environments. SI70OR82 meets ASTM D2000 7GE707 requirements and can be compared to Parker S0604-70 when evaluating equivalent high temperature silicone materials.
