TS75OR50 is a 75 shore A orange PFA encapsulated silicone compound designed for extreme chemical environments where traditional elastomers may fail. This material combines a PFA Teflon outer shell for near universal chemical resistance with a resilient silicone core that maintains elastic sealing performance, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets in pharmaceutical, food processing, and aggressive chemical applications. It offers excellent heat resistance and stability across a wide service temperature range of -62°C to 260°C, while meeting FDA 21 CFR 177.1550, USP Class VI, and 3A 20-17 requirements. TS75OR50 is well suited for applications requiring both regulatory compliance and resistance to harsh media where standard FKM or silicone compounds may not perform as effectively.

 

PFA encapsulated silicone materials are composite sealing solutions that combine the chemical inertness of fluoropolymers with the flexibility of elastomer cores. The PFA outer layer provides exceptional resistance to acids, solvents, and aggressive chemicals, while the silicone core ensures proper compression and recovery for effective sealing in O-rings and gaskets.
