Parker’s VM125-75 is a 75 Shore A black fluorocarbon (FKM) compound classified as a “GLT” type elastomer, optimized for low-temperature flexibility and broad chemical resistance. With a service temperature range of -40°F to 400°F, it provides excellent sealing performance in applications where conventional FKM materials become brittle at lower temperatures. VM125-75 is compatible with mineral oils, IRM 901–903 test oils, nonflammable hydraulic fluids, silicone oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and fuels such as gasoline and natural gas. It also exhibits superior resistance to ozone, weathering, and oxidation, making it suitable for demanding industrial and aerospace environments.

 

This compound meets AMS-R-83485 and ASTM D2000 M4HK714 specifications, ensuring consistent mechanical and thermal performance across critical sealing applications. Its low-temperature resilience, strong tensile properties, and reduced compression set make it ideal for use in dynamic and static seals exposed to extreme service conditions. VM125-75 is not recommended for use with glycol-based brake fluids, amines, alkalis, superheated steam, or low molecular weight organic acids.
