VT65GR00 is a 65 shore A green FKM Type A compound designed as a flexible, cost-effective sealing solution for general purpose applications. Its lower durometer improves conformability, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets used in low pressure systems or tight tolerance grooves where enhanced sealing contact is required. The material offers excellent resistance to heat, fuels, oils, and a wide range of industrial chemicals, along with strong durability against ozone, weathering, and aging. With a service temperature range of -26°C to 225°C, VT65GR00 meets ASTM D2000 M2HK607 requirements and can be compared to Parker compounds such as V0769-60, V1164-75, and VA150-65 for equivalent performance.
FKM, commonly referred to as Viton®, is a high performance fluoroelastomer widely used in O-rings and gaskets where resistance to fuels, oils, and elevated temperatures is essential. Type A FKM materials are general purpose grades that provide a strong balance of chemical resistance, thermal stability, and cost efficiency.
