VT75BK50 is a black FKM Type XLT fluoroelastomer engineered for extreme low temperature sealing applications involving O-rings, gaskets, and custom molded elastomer components. This compound features a hardness of approximately 75 Shore A and is designed to maintain flexibility and sealing reliability where conventional fluorocarbon materials may become too stiff. FKM XLT materials are commonly selected for sealing systems that require both chemical resistance and extended low temperature performance.

VT75BK50 provides excellent resistance to fuels, oils, and a wide range of industrial chemicals while also offering strong resistance to weathering, ozone, and aging. The recommended service temperature range is -48°C to 225°C (-54°F to 437°F) with excursions down to approximately -60°C, supporting reliable sealing performance in demanding environments. This material meets AMS 7379 requirements and is often used for O-rings, gaskets, and sealing components in aerospace systems, chemical processing equipment, and other industrial applications that require low temperature FKM elastomer performance.
