FF500-75 Datasheet
Parofluor FF500-75 FFKM, 75A, Black, Broad Chemical Resistance, FDA
Parker’s FF500-75 is a 75 Shore A black perfluorinated elastomer (FFKM) engineered for broad chemical resistance across a wide range of aggressive industrial environments. With a recommended service temperature range of 5°F to 525°F, it maintains sealing integrity in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, polar solvents such as acetone, MEK, and dioxane, as well as many inorganic and organic acids. This compound also performs reliably in water and steam service, petroleum oils, and wet or dry chlorine exposure, while exhibiting minimal weight loss in high-vacuum applications. Its balanced mechanical properties support stable performance in both static and dynamic sealing conditions under elevated temperatures.
FF500-75 is commonly used in O-rings, gaskets, and custom seals for chemical processing equipment, vacuum systems, and severe service industrial applications where broad media compatibility is required. It is not recommended for fluorinated refrigerants, uranium hexafluoride, molten metals, or gaseous and alkali metals. This FFKM formulation provides dependable chemical durability and thermal stability for demanding process environments. Canyon Components offers equivalent FFKM materials designed to match or exceed the chemical resistance and temperature capability of Parker FF500-75 for industrial sealing applications.
