KP1050LF Datasheet

DuPont™ Kalrez® 1050LF is an 82 Shore A black perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound designed as a general-purpose sealing material for the chemical processing industry. It provides excellent resistance to hot water, steam, and amines, along with strong mechanical properties and low compression set for reliable long-term sealing performance. With a maximum recommended service temperature of 288°C (550°F) and pressure capability up to 10.34 MPa (1500 psi), Kalrez® 1050LF maintains stability and elasticity in aggressive chemical and high-temperature environments. It is not recommended for continuous use in organic or inorganic acids at elevated temperatures.

Kalrez® 1050LF is widely used in O-rings, gaskets, and custom seals for chemical process, oil and gas, and industrial applications requiring broad chemical compatibility and superior thermal endurance. It combines strength, flexibility, and compression set resistance for both static and dynamic sealing conditions. Canyon Components offers equivalent FFKM materials that match or exceed the performance of Kalrez® 1050LF for demanding chemical, steam, and amine-resistant sealing applications.
