VA153-90 Datasheet

Parker VA153-90 is a general purpose FKM fluorocarbon elastomer designed for durable sealing in O-rings, gaskets, and custom molded rubber components used in demanding industrial environments. This compound features a hardness of 90 Shore A, providing increased rigidity and extrusion resistance for high pressure sealing applications. Fluorocarbon FKM materials such as VA153-90 are widely used where excellent heat resistance, chemical compatibility, and long service life are required.

VA153-90 offers strong resistance to petroleum oils, mineral oils, vegetable oils, silicone fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and toluene, and many chlorinated hydrocarbons. The recommended service temperature range is approximately -15°F to 400°F, supporting reliable sealing performance in elevated temperature systems and high vacuum environments. Parker VA153-90 is commonly used for O-rings, gaskets, and sealing components in chemical processing equipment, automotive systems, aerospace assemblies, and other industrial applications requiring high hardness FKM elastomer seals.
