BT70BK01 Datasheet

Canyon BT70BK01 is a 70 durometer black FDA-compliant Butyl (IIR) elastomer designed for sanitary O-rings and gaskets used in food and beverage processing. Comparable to Parker compounds B0318-70 and B0612-70, this material combines low gas permeability with excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and ozone. Its smooth, non-reactive surface supports hygienic sealing performance in equipment exposed to moisture, cleaning agents, and low vacuum or pressure conditions. With a service temperature range of -76°F to 250°F (-60°C to 121°C), BT70BK01 maintains flexibility and low compression set in demanding environments.

 

BT70BK01 meets FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and ASTM D2000 4AA715 specifications, ensuring consistent performance and compliance for food-grade applications. This cost-effective Butyl compound provides reliable sealing and environmental resistance for dairy, beverage, and general food processing systems.
