Canrez® CP 80BK01 is Canyon Components’ flagship perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound, combining near-universal chemical resistance, excellent high-temperature performance, and low compression set at a competitive cost. It is a cost-effective option to evaluate alongside Kalrez® 6375, 4079, 7375, and 7075, with material selection based on the application’s chemical exposure, temperature, and sealing requirements.
With a service temperature range of -15°C to 320°C (5°F to 608°F), Canrez® CP 80BK01 supports demanding sealing applications in semiconductor manufacturing and chemical processing. Its low compression set helps maintain sealing force over time, while its thermal resistance allows for short excursions outside the stated service range, depending on operating conditions and exposure duration.
Canrez® CP 80BK01 offers broad chemical compatibility with solvents such as MEK, DMF, and acetone, as well as esters, ethers, ketones, aldehydes, and xylene. Recommended application limits include steam below 300°C (572°F), amines below 38°C (100°F), and sour gas applications with H₂S concentrations below 65%. These capabilities make it a versatile choice for aggressive environments where chemical resistance, thermal stability, and cost control are key considerations.
