CP90BK21 Datasheet

Canrez® CP90BK21 is a 90 Shore A black FFKM compound engineered for ultra-low-temperature sealing applications that require high durometer strength and broad chemical compatibility. It delivers near-universal chemical resistance while maintaining elasticity and sealing performance down to -46°C (-51°F), making it suitable for environments where standard FFKM materials become too rigid. With a service temperature range of -46°C to 220°C (-51°F to 428°F), CP90BK21 provides reliable sealing integrity across wide thermal swings, including short excursions outside its nominal limits. The high durometer improves extrusion resistance and dimensional stability in pressurized, low-temperature conditions.

 

CP90BK21 is commonly used in ultra-low-temperature valves and pumps, chemical processing systems, and low-temperature oil and gas applications where both cold flexibility and chemical durability are required. This Canrez® formulation offers a cost-effective solution for demanding cryogenic and cold-service environments without sacrificing chemical resistance or mechanical strength.
