E1100-50 Datasheet
Parker, E1100-50 EPDM, 50A, Black, General Purpose
Parker’s E1100-50 is a 50 Shore A black EPDM compound evaluated for performance in water and glycol-based environments where flexibility and chemical resistance are required. With a service temperature range of -70°F to 250°F, it maintains elasticity at very low temperatures while performing reliably in hot water and steam exposure. This compound is well suited for glycol-based brake fluids, phosphate-ester hydraulic fluids, silicone oils and greases, many organic and inorganic acids, cleaning agents, sodium and potassium alkalis, and a wide range of polar solvents. Its inherent resistance to ozone, aging, and weathering supports long-term durability in exposed industrial and automotive environments.
E1100-50 is commonly used in applications requiring a softer EPDM seal to accommodate movement, vibration, or low sealing loads in water-based and polar chemical systems. It is not recommended for use with mineral oil products such as oils, greases, or fuels. Canyon Components offers equivalent EPDM materials designed to meet similar low-durometer, steam, and glycol-compatible sealing requirements.
