Canyon’s EP70BK80 is a 70 Shore A black EPDM compound that is peroxide cured and engineered for sanitary sealing applications in food, pharmaceutical, and medical environments. It is compliant with USP Class VI <87> and <88>, FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, and 3-A Sanitary 18-03 Class 2, making it suitable for regulated processes that require hygienic materials and traceability. With a service temperature range of -40°C to 150°C (-40°F to 300°F), EP70BK80 delivers reliable resistance to weathering, heat, abrasion, and compression set while maintaining high elasticity and sealing integrity. Its ADI, BSE, and TSE-free formulation supports use in sensitive applications where material purity and safety are critical.

 

EP70BK80 is commonly used in food processing equipment, pharmaceutical systems, and medical devices that undergo frequent cleaning and thermal cycling.
