EP90BK01 Datasheet

Canyon’s EP90BK01 is a 90 Shore A black EPDM compound that is sulfur cured for high-hardness, cost-effective sealing in demanding industrial environments. Its high durometer provides improved extrusion resistance and dimensional stability, while maintaining good heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and low compression set for long-term performance. With a service temperature range of -55°C to 130°C (-67°F to 266°F), EP90BK01 performs reliably in outdoor and industrial applications where resistance to weathering, ozone, and environmental exposure is critical. The compound’s strong tensile properties and high elongation support dependable sealing in static and moderate dynamic conditions.

 

EP90BK01 meets ASTM D2000 M2BA910 requirements and is commonly used in industrial equipment, enclosures, and general-purpose sealing applications that benefit from a stiffer EPDM material. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker E0652-90 for comparable high-durometer EPDM sealing needs.
