FS80BU00 Datasheet

Canyon’s FS80BU00 is an 80 Shore A blue Fluorosilicone compound engineered for fuel-resistant sealing applications that require higher hardness, mechanical stability, and wide temperature capability. Manufactured in compliance with MIL-DTL-25988 and AMS-R-25988, MIL-R-25988 Class 1 Type 1 and Type 2 Grade 80, it delivers dependable compression set resistance and elastic recovery under sustained load. With a service temperature range of -73°C to 177°C (-100°F to 350°F), FS80BU00 maintains sealing integrity in extreme cold and elevated temperature environments. The fluorosilicone chemistry provides excellent resistance to fuels, oils, aging, weathering, and ultraviolet exposure where standard silicone materials are insufficient.

 

FS80BU00 is commonly used in O-rings and gaskets for aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial systems exposed to aviation fuels, automotive fuels, and chemically aggressive atmospheres. Its higher durometer supports improved extrusion resistance and dimensional stability in static and moderate dynamic sealing conditions. This compound offers a robust fluorosilicone solution for designs that demand fuel compatibility, environmental durability, and military specification alignment without QPL restrictions.
