Chemraz® SD585 Datasheet

Greene Tweed’s Chemraz® SD585 is an 80 Shore A white perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound engineered for biotechnology, analytical, and medical device sealing applications. It is both FDA 21 CFR 177.2400 and USP Class VI compliant, ensuring suitability for use in sanitary and high-purity environments. With a service temperature range of -30°C to 220°C (-22°F to 428°F), Chemraz® SD585 maintains exceptional elasticity and sealing integrity when exposed to strong oxidizing fluids, hot aqueous solutions, and steam sterilization. Its unique filler system enhances chemical resistance and long-term durability, even under high sealing loads and repeated autoclaving.
