Chemraz® 605 Datasheet

Greene Tweed’s Chemraz® 605 is an 80 Shore A black perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound engineered for challenging fluid-handling and high-temperature sealing applications. It delivers broad chemical resistance and maintains excellent sealing integrity in static and semi-dynamic environments exposed to hot amines, steam, water, and aggressive process media. With a service temperature range of -20°C to 260°C (-4°F to 500°F), Chemraz® 605 provides dependable performance under sustained thermal and chemical stress. Its strong compression set resistance and mechanical durability make it well suited for high-pressure and high-temperature systems.

 

Chemraz® 605 is commonly used in mechanical seals, pump housings, valves, reactors, compressors, and instrumentation across chemical processing and energy applications. It resists degradation from acids, caustics, aldehydes, esters, ethers, aromatics, methanol, ketones, TBA, MTBE, and other harsh chemicals, supporting long service life in demanding environments. This FFKM formulation combines thermal endurance, chemical versatility, and physical strength for reliable industrial sealing. Canyon Components offers equivalent FFKM materials designed to meet similar performance requirements for chemical processing, energy, and high-performance sealing applications.
