Chemraz® 605 Datasheet

Greene Tweed’s Chemraz® 605 is an 80 Shore A black perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound engineered for exceptional performance in challenging fluid-handling and high-temperature sealing applications. It provides a broad range of chemical resistance and maintains excellent sealing integrity in static and semi-dynamic environments. With a service temperature range of -20°C to 260°C (-4°F to 500°F), Chemraz® 605 delivers reliable performance under exposure to hot amines, steam, water, and aggressive process media. Its superior compression set resistance and mechanical strength make it well-suited for use in high-pressure and high-temperature systems.

 

Chemraz® 605 performs effectively in applications including mechanical seals, pump housings, valves, reactors, compressors, and instrumentation. It resists degradation in acids, caustics, aldehydes, esters, ethers, aromatics, methanol, ketones, TBA, MTBE, and other harsh chemicals. This perfluoroelastomer formulation combines high-temperature endurance, chemical versatility, and physical durability to deliver long-term sealing reliability in the most demanding industrial processes. Canyon Components offers equivalent FFKM materials that match or exceed the performance of Chemraz® 605 for chemical processing, energy, and high-performance sealing applications.
