Greene Tweed’s Chemraz® SD625 is an 80 Shore A black perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound specifically engineered for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic, and food processing applications requiring high purity, chemical inertness, and thermal stability. Offering near-universal chemical compatibility and a service temperature range from -20°C to 260°C (-4°F to 500°F), Chemraz® SD625 delivers exceptional sealing performance in aggressive environments where traditional elastomers such as FKM, silicone, and EPDM fail. It demonstrates outstanding steam-in-place (SIP) durability, maintaining sealing integrity through thousands of sterilization cycles, and is manufactured under a fully traceable ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.

 

Chemraz® SD625 meets a broad range of compliance standards including FDA 21 CFR 177.2400(d), FDA Food Contact Notification (FCN) 245, USP <87> and <88> Class VI, 3-A 18-03 for dairy equipment, and ADI-free certification. It provides long service life in applications such as O-rings, gaskets, valve seals, and complex assemblies used in hygienic and high-purity systems. This perfluoroelastomer formulation combines chemical breadth, steam resistance, and regulatory compliance, making it Greene Tweed’s premier sealing material for life sciences and food-grade processing.
