HN90BK00 Datasheet

Canyon’s HN90BK00 is a 90 Shore A black HNBR compound engineered for high-durometer sealing applications that demand improved heat resistance and chemical stability over standard NBR materials. Hydrogenated nitrile chemistry enhances thermal performance, abrasion resistance, and long-term durability while maintaining low compression set for dependable sealing under load. With a service temperature range of -40°C to 150°C (-40°F to 302°F), HN90BK00 performs reliably in demanding industrial, automotive, and oil and gas environments where higher stiffness and extrusion resistance are required. Its strong tensile strength and controlled elongation support consistent performance in static and moderate dynamic applications.

 

HN90BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M4DH910 requirements and is commonly selected for high-pressure sealing scenarios where conventional nitrile compounds soften or degrade. It is frequently cross-referenced as an alternative to Parker KA183-85 for comparable high-durometer HNBR sealing applications.
