LM100-70 Datasheet

Parker’s LM100-70 is a 70 Shore A blue fluorosilicone (FVMQ) compound engineered for aerospace and industrial sealing applications that require reliable performance across extreme low and high temperatures. Designed to operate from approximately -100°F to 350°F, it maintains flexibility in cold environments while delivering stable sealing performance at elevated temperatures. This material provides excellent resistance to fuels and solvents, making it well suited for fuel systems and fluid handling components exposed to aviation fuels, hydrocarbons, and related media. Its fluorosilicone chemistry also offers strong resistance to aging, weathering, and environmental exposure in demanding service conditions.

 

LM100-70 is manufactured to AMS-R-25988 Type I, Class I, Grade 70 and meets a wide range of UL and MIL/Aero requirements, supporting use in regulated aerospace and fuel system applications. It is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in aircraft fuel systems, aerospace components, and equipment requiring low-temperature elasticity combined with fuel compatibility. This compound is selected when broad certification coverage, fuel resistance, and wide temperature capability are critical design requirements.
