NA155-80 Datasheet
Parker, NA155-80 NBR, 80A, Black, General Purpose
Parker’s NA155-80 is an 80 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound designed as a general-purpose sealing material for industrial and fluid-handling applications. Operating across a service temperature range of -25°F to 250°F, it provides dependable sealing performance with good compression set resistance and mechanical stability under load. This compound is compatible with petroleum-based oils, water up to 212°F, salt and alkali solutions, and weak acids, making it suitable for a wide range of hydraulic and general machinery uses. Its higher durometer improves extrusion resistance compared to softer nitrile grades, supporting reliable performance in static and moderate dynamic O-rings and gaskets.
NA155-80 is commonly used in pumps, valves, cylinders, and industrial equipment where cost-effective oil resistance and durability are required. It is not recommended for aromatic fuels, strong acids, glycols, ozone exposure, or polar solvents. This material offers a practical balance of hardness, oil compatibility, and temperature capability for everyday sealing needs. Canyon Components offers equivalent NBR materials engineered to match the hardness, temperature range, and general-purpose performance of Parker NA155-80.
