NB70BK04 Datasheet

NB70BK04 is Canyon’s metal detectable, FDA compliant, 70 Shore A black nitrile rubber (NBR) compound engineered for food manufacturing O-rings and gaskets where foreign material control is critical. This material combines good abrasion resistance and low compression set with integrated metal detectability, helping support HACCP and food safety programs in processing environments. With a service temperature range of -35°C to 122°C (-31°F to 252°F), NB70BK04 performs reliably in contact with petroleum-based oils and common process fluids while maintaining consistent sealing performance. It meets ASTM D2000 requirements and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, making it well suited for static and light dynamic sealing applications in regulated facilities.
