NB70BU04 Datasheet

NB70BU04 is Canyon’s metal detectable, FDA compliant 70 Shore A blue nitrile rubber (NBR) compound engineered for O-rings and gaskets used in food manufacturing and processing equipment. This material combines good abrasion resistance and low compression set with integrated metal detectability, helping support foreign material control and HACCP programs in regulated production environments. With a service temperature range of -35°C to 122°C (-31°F to 252°F), NB70BU04 performs reliably in contact with petroleum-based oils and common process fluids while maintaining consistent sealing performance. It meets ASTM D2000 requirements and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, making it well suited for static and light dynamic sealing applications where safety and compliance are critical.
