NE60BK50 is Canyon’s AMS 3241 and AMS-PRF-6855 compliant 60 Shore A black Neoprene (CR) compound engineered for O-rings and gaskets requiring dependable low-temperature flexibility and superior compression set performance. This material provides good resistance to weathering, moderate heat, and low-temperature solvents and refrigerants, supporting reliable sealing in aerospace, military, and industrial environments. With a service temperature range of -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F), NE60BK50 maintains elasticity and sealing force through temperature cycling and extended service. Its mid-range durometer offers a practical balance of conformability and extrusion resistance for static and light dynamic applications.
