NE70BK08 is Canyon’s low-temperature 70 Shore A black Neoprene (CR) compound engineered for O-rings and gaskets that must remain flexible and seal reliably in cold environments, including refrigerant service. This cost-effective material is compatible with Freon and other low-temperature refrigerants while providing good resistance to weathering, moderate heat, and low-temperature solvents. With a service temperature range down to -55°C (-67°F), NE70BK08 maintains elasticity during cold starts and temperature cycling, supporting dependable static and light dynamic sealing. It meets ASTM D2000 requirements and is commonly selected for HVAC, refrigeration, and outdoor industrial equipment.
