SI65GY55 Datasheet

CanGuard® SI65GY55 is a 65 Shore A gray conductive silicone elastomer filled with nickel-plated aluminum particles, engineered for high-performance EMI and RFI shielding applications. Designed to meet MIL-DTL-83528 requirements, it delivers excellent electrical conductivity and effective electromagnetic shielding while maintaining flexibility and compressibility for reliable sealing. With a service temperature range of -55°C to 160°C (-67°F to 320°F), SI65GY55 maintains stable mechanical and conductive properties across wide thermal variations. This balance of conductivity and resilience makes it well suited for electronic enclosures, connectors, and shielding gaskets.

 

SI65GY55 is commonly used in military, aerospace, and industrial electronic systems where EMI and RFI control are critical. It provides a practical balance of performance and cost efficiency for demanding shielding applications. The material is not recommended for prolonged salt mist exposure or environments with high abrasion. Canyon Components offers equivalent conductive silicone materials designed to meet similar EMI and RFI shielding and environmental sealing requirements.
