V1226-75 Datasheet

Parker’s V1226-75 is a 75 Shore A brown fluorocarbon (FKM) compound engineered for sealing applications that require low compression set, excellent chemical resistance, and long-term durability. It delivers reliable performance in contact with oils, fuels, and aggressive chemicals across a service temperature range of -15°F to 400°F. The compound is highly compatible with mineral oils, IRM 901 through 903 test oils, nonflammable hydraulic fluids, silicone oils and greases, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Its strong resistance to ozone, weathering, and oxidative degradation supports consistent sealing integrity in both static and dynamic environments.

 

V1226-75 meets AMS 7276 requirements and carries UL listing, making it well suited for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications where material stability and reliability are critical. It provides extended service life in high-vacuum and elevated-temperature systems due to its reduced compression set and robust mechanical properties. The compound is not recommended for use with glycol-based brake fluids, amines, alkalis, superheated steam, or low molecular weight organic acids.
