VT70BU09 Datasheet

VT70BU09 is a blue FKM Type A fluoroelastomer compound with a nominal hardness of 70 Shore A, engineered for sanitary sealing applications in food and beverage processing equipment. This metal detectable elastomer is FDA compliant under 21 CFR 177.2600 and meets 3-A Sanitary Standard 18-03 Class I, II, III, and IV requirements. The material is commonly used to manufacture O-rings, gaskets, and custom molded sealing components where both hygienic design and product safety are critical.

FKM materials such as VT70BU09 provide excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, weathering, and long term environmental exposure, supporting reliable sealing performance in demanding processing environments. The recommended service temperature range of approximately -26°C to 225°C (-15°F to 437°F) allows the material to perform in high temperature food manufacturing and cleaning processes.
