VT70WH15 Datasheet

VT70WH15 is a 70 shore A white FKM Type A compound designed for high purity sealing applications where regulatory compliance and chemical resistance are critical. This material meets FDA CFR 21 177.2600, USP Class VI, and 3A sanitary requirements, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets used in food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, and medical systems. It offers excellent resistance to fuels, oils, and a wide range of industrial chemicals, while also performing reliably in clean-in-place and steam-in-place environments. With a service temperature range of -26°C to 225°C, VT70WH15 meets ASTM D2000 M2HK710 requirements and delivers consistent sealing performance in demanding sanitary applications.

 

FKM, commonly referred to as Viton®, is a high performance fluoroelastomer widely used in O-rings and gaskets where resistance to heat, chemicals, and fuels is essential. Type A FKM materials provide a balanced combination of chemical resistance and thermal stability, while high purity variants are specifically formulated to meet FDA, USP Class VI, and 3A sanitary standards. These materials are commonly used in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and medical industries where cleanliness and compliance are required. While highly versatile, FKM materials are generally not recommended for hot water, steam, or certain polar solvents beyond their limits, making proper material selection important.
