VT70WH22 Datasheet

VT70WH22 is a 70 shore A white FKM Type GF compound engineered for high purity and sanitary sealing applications where both chemical resistance and regulatory compliance are critical. This clean room manufactured material meets FDA CFR 21 177.2600, USP Class VI, and 3A Sanitary Class II requirements, making it ideal for O-rings and gaskets used in pharmaceutical, food, and dairy processing systems. It offers excellent resistance to engine oils, aqueous fluids, steam, mineral acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and fuels, while also supporting CIP and SIP cleaning processes. With a service temperature range of -16°C to 225°C, VT70WH22 meets ASTM D2000 6HK715 requirements and provides reliable sealing performance in demanding sanitary environments.

 

FKM, commonly referred to as Viton®, is a high performance fluoroelastomer widely used in O-rings and gaskets where resistance to heat, chemicals, and fuels is essential. GF-type FKM materials are formulated to enhance resistance to steam, acids, and harsh cleaning environments compared to standard grades. High purity variants that are FDA, USP Class VI, and 3A compliant are commonly used in pharmaceutical, food, and beverage industries where cleanliness and regulatory compliance are required. While highly versatile, FKM materials are generally not recommended for certain polar solvents or extreme steam conditions beyond their limits, making proper material selection essential.
