VT75BK55 Datasheet

VT75BK55 is a 75 shore A black FKM Type GFLT compound that is UL 157 listed and engineered for applications requiring enhanced chemical resistance and improved low temperature performance. This material is well suited for O-rings and gaskets used in fuel handling systems, enclosures, and industrial equipment exposed to gasoline, diesel, kerosene, lubricating oils, and fuel blends. It also meets multiple UL standards including UL 50E and UL 2586 series, ensuring compliance in regulated environments while maintaining excellent resistance to steam, acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and weathering. With a service temperature range of -37°C to 225°C, VT75BK55 meets ASTM D2000 M2HK710 requirements and provides a reliable solution for demanding sealing applications.

 

FKM, commonly referred to as Viton®, is a high performance fluoroelastomer widely used in O-rings and gaskets where resistance to fuels, oils, and aggressive chemicals is critical. GFLT-type FKM compounds are advanced formulations designed to extend both low temperature flexibility and chemical compatibility beyond standard grades. UL-listed FKM materials are commonly used in fuel systems, electrical enclosures, and industrial applications where compliance and long-term durability are required. While highly versatile, FKM compounds are generally not recommended for certain polar solvents or extreme steam conditions, making proper material selection essential.
