XN70BK00 Datasheet

XN70BK00 is a 70 shore A black XNBR compound designed for applications requiring enhanced wear resistance and improved mechanical durability over standard NBR materials. This carboxylated nitrile formulation provides excellent abrasion and tear resistance, along with improved compression set performance, making it well suited for dynamic sealing applications such as O-rings and gaskets in hydraulic systems, pumps, and industrial equipment. It offers reliable chemical resistance to oils, fuels, and many industrial fluids, while maintaining performance across a service temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. XN70BK00 meets ASTM D2000 M5BG714 requirements and can be compared to other XNBR compounds when evaluating equivalent materials for high wear sealing environments.

 

XNBR, or carboxylated nitrile rubber, is an advanced version of NBR that incorporates carboxyl groups to enhance strength, abrasion resistance, and resistance to tearing. These materials are commonly used in O-rings and gaskets where standard nitrile may wear too quickly, particularly in dynamic or high friction environments. XNBR maintains many of the same oil and fuel resistance characteristics as NBR while offering improved durability and longer service life in demanding applications.
