Canyon AF80BK02 is an 80 durometer black AFLAS® (TFE/P) elastomer engineered for FDA and 3-A Sanitary compliant O-rings and gaskets. Designed for demanding steam-in-place (SIP) and sterilization environments, it provides excellent chemical resistance to amines, acids, and bases while maintaining strength and elasticity under high temperatures. Its compliance with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 3-A sanitary standards makes it ideal for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical process systems. The material’s dense structure ensures low compression set and long-term sealing performance under harsh thermal cycling.

 

AF80BK02 performs reliably from -10°C to 235°C (15°F to 455°F) while resisting degradation from steam, cleaning agents, and chemical exposure.
