Canrez® CP70BK03 is a 70 durometer black FFKM compound engineered for O-rings and gaskets requiring exceptional chemical and steam resistance. Designed for ultra-demanding environments, it provides outstanding resistance to hot amines, sour gas, steam, strong acids, and aggressive solvents while maintaining elasticity and sealing integrity. This material offers near-universal chemical compatibility and long-term durability across a wide service range of -15°C to 260°C (5°F to 500°F). CP70BK03 delivers dependable sealing performance in both static and dynamic applications where exposure to high temperature and corrosive media is constant.
Ideal for semiconductor, oil and gas, and chemical processing applications, CP70BK03 resists degradation from harsh fluids including MEK, DMF, acetone, esters, ethers, ketones, aldehydes, and xylene. It performs reliably in steam up to 225°C (437°F) and amines up to 200°C (400°F). Compared to other popular brands of FFKM materials such as Kalrez® 1050LF, 6375, and 6380, this Canrez® formulation offers best-in-class chemical resistance, low compression set, and exceptional value for high-performance sealing systems.
