Parker’s E1267-80 is an 80 Shore A black EPDM compound qualified to aerospace specification NAS 1613 Rev. 5 for sealing applications requiring high durability and resistance to water-based and polar media. With a service temperature range of -70°F to 250°F, it maintains flexibility at low temperatures while delivering reliable performance in hot water and steam environments. This compound is compatible with glycol-based brake fluids, phosphate-ester hydraulic fluids, silicone oils and greases, many organic and inorganic acids, cleaning agents, sodium and potassium alkalis, and a wide range of polar solvents. Its inherent resistance to ozone, aging, and weathering supports long service life in demanding aerospace and industrial environments.

E1267-80 meets or exceeds all phases of NAS 1613 requirements, making it suitable for aerospace, braking systems, and fluid handling applications where material consistency and performance are critical. It is not recommended for exposure to mineral oil products such as oils, greases, or fuels. Canyon Components offers equivalent EPDM materials designed to meet similar aerospace, steam, and chemical resistance requirements.
