Canyon’s FS70BU01 is a 70 Shore A blue Fluorosilicone compound engineered for fuel-resistant sealing applications that require regulatory compliance and dependable performance across extreme temperature ranges. Manufactured in compliance with MIL-DTL-25988 and AMS-R-25988, MIL-R-25988 Class 1 Type 1 and Type 2 Grade 70, and additionally UL 157 listed, it delivers consistent flexibility, good compression set resistance, and stable mechanical properties. With a service temperature range of -73°C to 177°C (-100°F to 350°F), FS70BU01 maintains sealing integrity in both cryogenic conditions and elevated temperature environments. Its fluorosilicone chemistry provides excellent resistance to fuels, oils, aging, weathering, and ultraviolet exposure where standard silicone materials are inadequate.

 

FS70BU01 is commonly used for O-rings and gaskets in aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial systems exposed to aviation fuels, automotive fuels, and chemically aggressive atmospheres. The added UL 157 listing supports use in electrical enclosure and equipment sealing applications where fuel resistance and compliance are required.
