Greene Tweed’s Chemraz® 605 is an 80 Shore A black perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) compound engineered for exceptional performance in challenging fluid-handling and high-temperature sealing applications. It provides a broad range of chemical resistance and maintains excellent sealing integrity in static and semi-dynamic environments. With a service temperature range of -20°C to 260°C (-4°F to 500°F), Chemraz® 605 delivers reliable performance under exposure to hot amines, steam, water, and aggressive process media. Chemraz® 605 performs effectively in applications including mechanical seals, pump housings, valves, reactors, compressors, and instrumentation. It resists degradation in acids, caustics, aldehydes, esters, ethers, aromatics, methanol, ketones, TBA, MTBE, and other harsh chemicals.
